Job description:
Roles & Responsibilities
• This position performs advanced professional and complex technical work in the development, implementation, and maintenance of a Local Area Network (LAN) and/or Wide Area Network (WAN)
• Have worked on Network monitoring tools like Solarwinds, ManageEngine OpManager etc.
• Managed mid size Datacenter/HUB rooms & maintained uptime for all devices.
• Ensure redundancy managed at ISP & network equipment layer to avoid downtime.
• Ability to implement, administers, and troubleshoots network infrastructure devices, including multi-vendor wireless access points, firewalls, routers, switches, LB and controllers.
• Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.
• Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
• Working experience on P2P, ILL, MPLS, Multicast, BGP, OSPF, L2VPN, L3VPN, VLAN, STP, LAG, DHCP, DNS and switching technologies
• Responsible for acting as liaison between network users, staff, management, and vendors
• Administer complex FW and IPS rule bases under change management. Lead the implementation of business critical changes or upgrades/updates.
• Handle AD, Proxy, DHCP/DNS, AV and proxy services.
• Preferred if worked on Watchguard Firewalls & led independently various network projects.
• Lead role in Disaster Recovery activities owned by the group
• Handle all third party providers & AMCs of all hardware & software equipment.
• Plan and implement security measures to protect the system from cyber attacks, hacking attacks, intrusion, infiltration, and natural disasters.

Qualifications:
• A minimum of Technical degree in Information Systems or Computer Science.
• A minimum of 6+ years' experience in handling IT Infra & accredited certifications such as CCNA/CCNP would be preferred
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures including ITIL methodologies.
• Capability to handle difficult situations & communicate effectively at all levels.
• Effective oral & written communication skills
