On behalf of MCSA or MCSE can plan our carrier with above designation. Microsoft has client operating system and server operating system. Client operating system started with windows xp, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows 8 and Windows 10. There are many server operating system from the beginning, like server 2000, server 2003, server 2008, server 2012 and server 2016. Sever can provide any service to the clinet, service can be hardware, service can be network, service can be desktop, service can be others. Active Directory is very important part of the server, Active directory is use to manage, user account, computer account, shared folder, file, group policy, etc. Active directory works of behalf of below protocol

DNS(Domain name system or server)- to resolve ip to hostname and hostname to the ip. Can provide user friendly name to the website, we are the human body so can not remember the internet protocol address, need to remember the name and name provided by the DNS Server.

Other protocol is LDAP, light weight directory access protocol. Use to access directory from the network or from one computer to the other computer. Active directory is the database for the network, for the client operating system. LDAP will be responsible for the directory accessing in the network.

Kerberos, Kerberos will provide the directory security authentication from the network. If any user, group or other account will login to the network then will check the identity of the person, means will check username and password. If both are valid then can access the network otherwise will be not able to access the network.

There are many institute in India or Noida but we must have the practical and theoretical knowledge of the subject. In the server configuration, now main focus will be on power shell, can execute anything on behalf of commands only. Server 2016 has been launched by 2nd October 2018. Before this version, there was server 2016, we must have the knowledge and practical idea about the latest server and configuration. If will discuss about the release cycle of server 2016 then it was launched in September 26, 2016. According to the new version, many topics has been added and many topics has been removed.

Let’s take one example of the server, suppose if we want to launch any website then we must have the knowledge of DNS server, Active Directory, IIS and must have the server operating system. IIS stands for internet information services, first step will be to configure the DNS server, after the DNS then can configure html page for the website, may be we have many pages to launch the website, we must have the storage space for the website. Website always will be live due to accessibility of the user and other people.

Hyper-v is the important part of the virtualization, virtual system also will behave like a actual system. In the base system can install and configure many virtual computer or virtual machine. Virtual machine can easily connect with the physical environment or outside of the network. In the virtual computer easily configure DHCP server, ADCS Server, ADDS Server, ADLDS server or some other server. If we want to troubleshoot DNS and DHCP server then can use following command
# ipconfig /release
# ipconfig /renew
# ipconfig is the command to check the ip address, subnet mask, default gateway too,
# ipconfig /all is the command to check primary dns server ip, secondary dns ip along with the mac address of the computer.

In case of dns can use following commands
# Nslookup 10.0.0.1
# Nslookup www.gmail.com

We can make Microsoft server as a router. Means Microsoft server will be able to connect with two different network or different network address. Server will be behave like router also called routing and remote access server. Rrasmgmt.msc is the command to open console of routing and remote access server. If we want to pen active directory domain and trust then can open with domain.msc command. Dsa.msc is the command to open active directory users and computers, dssite.msc is the command to open active directory site and services.
