In this new windows server, many topics has been introduced also many topics has been removed from the syllabus. Microsoft has introduced the Nano Server, we need to plan, we need to configure, we need to make the strategy about the server. In this version many options will be added like partition of the of the system, basic disk, dynamic disk, primary partition, extended partition, there are some other disk, like virtual hard disk. Here we can easily implement storage solutions and can select the appropriate solution for the same. We can add multiple hard disk with the logical drive, if hard disk size will be different then also can add with the logical group. Virtualization new feature has been introduced by the server. How to communicate one virtual computer to the other virtual computer, how one virtual computer can communicate with the physical computer. In the virtual system easily can configure the server, server can be NAT, server can be PAT, server can be RRAS, Server can be ADDS, etc.

NAT is important server with ipv4 networking, also called network address translation. If we want to communicate with public network to the private network then can user NAT. If we want to communicate inside network to outside network then also can user NAT. If we want to communicate internal network to external network then also can user NAT. If ipv4 address can map with the port number then process is called PAT(Port Address Translation). We can perform the mapping like one to one and one to many. There are some types of PAT and NAT. Static NAT, Dynamic NAT, etc.

Let’s discuss about the ADCS(Active Directory Certificate Services), this is responsible to configure the certificate. We can provide certificate from the Microsoft server, can provide certificate to the user account, computer account, shared folder, application, any other app, other account.
Certificate can be release
Certificate can be renew
Certificate can be revoke

We can generate the certificate with the help of Active directory certificate services, actually active directory has many options, active directory users and computers, if we want to open active directory users and computers then can user dsa.msc command. Means can go to start then run then can type the same command but definitely we must have the server operating system. If we want to open active directory site and services then can user dssite.msc command. Process will be same, can go to start then go to run then can type dssite.msc command to configure and remote site like to communicate branch office to the head office. There is one other option, active director domain and trust, if you want to open active directory domain and trust then can use domain.msc command in command prompt of server 2016. Many more features has been introduced with the server so can check with the syllabus.
