The first step of ethical hacking is footprinting also known as intelligence gathering. It is a process by which a user gains information about the target’s system or the web server by means of which the user can exploit the system. These involved many software and tools which helps the user to gain access. Nmap scan, unicornscan scan, DNS lookup, whoisdomain tools, nslookup tool etc. By the help of these software and tools a user get the information of the target system very easily.
