Job description:
As an Information Security Analyst, design, develop and implement information security systems to protect the organization's assets from cyber - attacks. Help develop organization wide best practices for Information security. Monitor networks for security issues, install security software and document all security issues or breaches.

In a typical day, what you will do (The primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):
• Work collaboratively with the IT department to ensure that systems are configured, deployed, and maintained in accordance with Information Security policies and standards
• Protect information systems against unauthorized access, modification or destruction
• Work with the Managed Services Security Provider on incident response and service tuning
• Plan implement and upgrade security measures and controls
• Manage network, intrusion detection and prevention systems, recommend and install appropriate tools and countermeasures, monitoring of security countermeasures and tools
• Coordinate security plans with vendors
• Security assessments of network infrastructure, hosts and applications
• Conduct internal and external security audits, assist technical security audits
• Creating and delivering reports on information security metrics
• Develop, review and maintain information Security documentation
• Analysis of system vulnerability assessments
• Analyzing, responding to and managing security events and incidents
• Participate in post incident review, identify and implement improvements to increase detection and response efficiency
• Verify technical controls outlined in third - party due diligence questionnaires
• Assist in embedding a culture of Information Security across the organization

What you need to have:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
• 5 years of technical experience with information security and technology
• Come from a technical background and have strong analytical skills
• Knowledge across a spectrum of capabilities including web filtering, email filtering and security incident and event management solutions
• Knowledge of current security standards
• Working knowledge and experience with incident handling, investigation and remediation best practices.
• Working knowledge of Penetration testing methodology/common vulnerabilities
• Proficient with Mac, Windows and Linux with experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessments and installing security software and documenting security issues.
• Have excellent written and oral communication skill and understand email threat protection, endpoint security, SIEM, SOC, patch management and firewalls, and IDPS.

Mandatory Requirement
• Experience in managing security technical controls
• Experience of working with cloud platforms
• Knowledge and understanding of Security concepts and controls
• A good understanding of Information Security best practices

Good to have skills
• Preferred certification in one or more of an industry recognized security certification such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP
• Preferred experience in, SIEM or Log Correlation and Analysis, and IDS/IPS
